Garage Doors, More Mud

The garage doors are now up.  Finishing the drywall almost complete - it looks like most, if not all, of the compound has been applied.  A little bit of sanding may be needed.  Some light texture has been sprayed on the ceilings.  Also, Ameren has hooked up the electricity.  The gas meter is up, but lines haven't been run into the house.  Lastly, it looks like most of the ductwork has been done.

Things are moving really fast.  We've just picked out paint, flooring, and appliances.  Within the coming week we'll be picking out light fixtures.  Not too much left to decide on (whew!).

Mudding, Garage Floor

They've started to mud the walls.  Drywall is up in the garage, and the garage floor has also been poured.

Fascia, Drywall

The fascia/soffit is done.  More exciting, all of the drywall appears to be hung inside the house (as opposed to the garage, where it hasn't been hung yet).

Nearly Complete Exterior & Insulation

Well, the brick and siding are done (and I must say, they look pretty good!).  Most of the fascia and soffit is in place.  Insulation has been put in.  Not quite sure what's next - drywall perhaps?

More brick, Siding

I know it's only been a day or two since the last posting, but they're moving right along with the exterior and I couldn't help but post a few more pictures.  Most of the brick is now in place, and a good amount of the siding is up now, too.

Electrical finished, brick started

The electrical stuff is complete, or at least almost complete - it's passed the electrical inspection.  Also, they've started putting brick on the front.  What you see already done, plus the front of the garage, will be brick.  The rest of the house will be vinyl siding.

Shingles, Electrical

The shingles are on.  The electrical should be finished today.  I imagine they'll be wrapping up plumbing this week if they haven't already done so.  Then on to inspection, followed by insulation and exterior coverings.
